Preventing missile (bullet) attack

Standard float glass has little protection against ballistic attacks. But if it is equipped with multi-layer polyvinyl butyral (PVB) film, it can be used as bullet-proof security glass. This is because the intermediate film of bullet-proof laminated glass helps to keep most glass structures together. Membrane also helps prevent debris from splashing on the impact side of the attack, causing further damage.

By using the Huakai PVB intermediate film, the architect can specify tailor-made security glass, which may help to block or prevent bullets from penetrating the glass.
