Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, located in Chongqing City, Yubei District China two street, 19 km from the city centre, 4E Civil International Airport, is one of the major airports, eight countries domestic hub airport location, in 2013 to become China fifth to implement 72 hours transit visa policy airport.

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport on January 22, 1990 formally put into service, named Chongqin Jiangbei Airport; 1998 renamed Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport; October 2005 to complete the two phase expansion project completed in December 2010; the three phase of the expansion project; a 500 thousand square meters of new expansion project four T3A terminal and a 3800 meter runway 4F, the project is expected by the end of July 2017 and put into use.
